- Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member‑ready area.
- Receive and stock merchandise in an organized manner.
- Maintain inventory so that there is no out of stock and over‑stock products.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the products; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
- Implement processes and specifications related to production of various types of produce merchandise (e.g., taste, preparation method or use, seasonality); prepare products according to established standards.
- Maintain product safety and follow company sanitation guidelines and applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Drive the performance of the area; use digital tools and perpetual inventory management techniques to stock and rotate department products; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and provide attention to customer needs.
- Act as a mentor and ambassador for the department and the club, modeling high quality service and products and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00*. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
