About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, growth driven Senior Account Manager. This position will use their professionalism, client orientated, and leadership skills to provide support to the Account Management Team in the Employee Benefits Department. Ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills. Our ideal candidate will also exhibit our core values, vision, and code of conduct.
EssentialFunctions
- Oversee and manage assigned book of business for middle to large market employee benefit clients
- Support clients as the primary contact and provider of day-to-day employee benefits administration needs
- Respond to client questions and needs, as well as problem solve within the Account Management team
- Prepare for and facilitate weekly High-Performance Team (HPT) meetings with Account Executives and Senior Account Executives
- Assist Employee Benefits Department Manager with identifying workflows and workloads for the team as well as Resource Pro (offshore support)
- Understand best practices and proficiencies with workplace technology.
- Capable of meeting with client(s) independently to discuss renewals, claims, utilization, compliance, or other employee benefit administration needs
- Goes beyond client and team expectations to achieve excellent customer experience
- Assist Employee Benefits Department Manager with the development of consistent, efficient, and effective workflows, procedures and policies and ensure utilization within the department
- Conduct team and project meetings, as needed, to inform, and obtain input
- Train and mentor new hires and colleagues
- Bachelors’ degree preferred
- 5+ years of employee benefits insurance experience
- Life, Health, and Accident Licensed
- Training/mentoring experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite, Agency Management System experience a plus

Ability to work effectively in an office environment for 40+ hours per week (including sitting, standing and working on a computer for extended periods of time). Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment utilizing various technologies such as: telephone, computer, web, voice, teleconferencing, email, etc.
Ability to read standard typed documents.
