Job Description
As a Realty Project Coach, you will join our Realty Execution team for Walmart US. You will take ownership in delivering store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the US. Your responsibility is to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet our top‑notch quality standards. In this role, you will partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members, handle escalations, and collaborate with store leadership to keep everything on track.
You will have the opportunity to travel to projects across the US.
- Influencing Others: Motivate your team to meet timelines and deliverables on projects. Encourage collaboration and teamwork among associates, and resolve concerns from store leadership, suppliers, and associates.
- Project Ownership: Own the execution of projects in your assigned stores. Communicate plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders, and minimize the impact on store operations.
- Develop Associates: Provide supervision and development opportunities for your team members. Listen and act on ideas, suggestions, questions, or concerns; evaluate talent, train and mentor, recognize contributions, and identify career paths for associates.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design.
- Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross‑functional teams.
Primarily working overnights; night shifts average from 10 to 12 hours.
TravelFrequent travel up to 1,000 miles from home is a role requirement. You will be away from home 80% of the time, or for 17–21 days at a time. Travel areas are based on project workload and may change as business needs evolve. You will be based out of a home store but may travel to surrounding states or farther to support projects.
Mileage will be reimbursed, and overnight stays will be paid for RPC roles.
The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 – $110,000.
Minimum Qualifications- Either a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related areas; or 3 years of experience in the same fields.
- Master’s degree in business or a related field.
- At least one year of experience leading cross‑functional teams.
- Project Management – Management Professional Certification.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing contributions, and fostering diversity awareness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, utilizing the Open‑Door Policy, and guiding the application of these principles in business processes and practices.
- Support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, determining and carrying out necessary processes, monitoring progress, recognizing improvement opportunities, and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
