We are looking for someone who can help lead and build Restoration Network's reconstruction division as we grow toward $7 million, $12 million, and beyond, while developing the people, systems, financial discipline, and standards needed to support that growth.

We are looking for a leader who can develop people, drive accountability, maintain high standards of workmanship, understand the financial side of construction, and help build a reconstruction department capable of supporting our continued growth.

Compensation:

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4–5 Reconstruction Project Managers

  • Guide Project Managers through our processes, systems, and expectations

  • Train and develop PMs to become stronger leaders and project managers

  • Maintain Restoration Network's standards of workmanship across all reconstruction projects

  • Oversee projects from approved scope through completion

  • Drive project schedules and keep jobs moving

  • Review WIP, job costing, budgets, and forecasting

  • Monitor project profitability and maintain established gross profit expectations

  • Help Project Managers identify financial issues early and develop corrective plans

  • Hold the team accountable for communication, documentation, schedules, quality, and financial performance

  • Manage subcontractor performance, quality, and capacity

  • Help resolve customer, trade, and project escalations

  • Ensure change orders and supplements are identified, documented, and captured

  • Coordinate closely with estimating, operations, accounting, and mitigation

  • Build and improve reconstruction processes as the company continues to grow

What Success Looks Like
  • Your Project Managers know what is expected of them and are continuously improving.

  • Projects are properly planned, staffed, and scheduled.

  • Workmanship standards are consistently maintained.

  • You understand where every project stands, operationally and financially.

  • WIP and forecasting are accurate.

  • Problems are identified early instead of becoming emergencies.

  • Jobs finish on schedule.

  • Margins are protected.

  • Customers are communicated with.

  • And the reconstruction department becomes stronger and more scalable as Restoration Network grows.

Qualifications:What We're Looking For

We care more about your ability to lead, develop people, and execute than checking every box.

Strong candidates will have:

  • Construction, remodeling, or restoration management experience

  • Experience leading and developing Project Managers

  • Strong understanding of job costing, WIP, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Ability to read project financials and understand what is driving profitability

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to hold people accountable while continuing to coach and develop them

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • High standards for workmanship and customer experience

  • Restoration and insurance reconstruction experience strongly preferred

  • Xactimate experience is a plus

  • Strong financial and business acumen is a major plus

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who takes ownership.

Someone who can build people, not just manage projects.

Someone who sees problems early and helps their team solve them.

Someone who understands that great construction management requires both great workmanship and strong financial performance.

And someone who wants to help build a department, not simply maintain one.
