Operations Technician

Our growing company is in search for new talent for the role of Operations Technician.

• Operate agronomy equipment for the application of nutrients and crop protection to customers’ field.
• Precisely blends and custom applies fertilizers and agricultural chemicals based on recommendations and label directions.
• Projects a positive attitude to customers and employees at all times.
• Assist with customer walk-ins and delivery of products.
• Receive grain and accurately place in proper bin.
• Load out grain in trucks or railcars according to contract specifications.
• Perform routine inventory measurements and monitor grain quality.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the facility and rolling stock on a routine basis.
• Perform yard maintenance including driveways, mowing, weed control, and snow removal.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, inspections and repairs.
• Assist team members in other areas as needed.

• H.S. Diploma/GED
• Basic understanding of machinery operation and dry material handling.
• Maintenance and mechanical skills.
• Computer Skills
• Customer Service Skills
• Attention to Detail
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain required commercial application certifications.
• Ability to work in heights and a dusty environment
• Ability to work overtime as needed, including some evenings and weekends.
