1st shift hours: Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM
2nd shift hours: Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM
3rd shift hours: Sunday through Thursday, 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM
Shift times vary by half an hour.
About the role: The primary focus is to build products by following processes to meet production goals.
Work Mode: This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in the local office at least three days per week.
Relocation: Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
VISA: Boston Scientific will not sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas for this position.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding and adhering to safety policies and practices.
- Ensuring quality and compliance with manufacturing process requirements, the Boston Scientific Quality Policy, and the Strategic Quality Process (SQP).
- Building products by following all current certified processes and completing assigned work while meeting manufacturing goals and metrics.
- Demonstrating a solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing and related principles.
- Applying flex strategy, rotating as necessary, and collaborating well within and across teams.
- Maintaining accurate records, including training files and shop floor paperwork (SFP).
- Participating in Shared Responsibility and continuous improvement teams.
- Following all BSC and site-specific policies and procedures.
- Attending and passing all required core training (e.g., QS Basics, RTK, Lean Training).
- Performing routine SAP functions related to the area (e.g., e-kanban, issuing/de-issuing, confirmations).
- Willing to become a Certified Back-Up Trainer (CBT) and responsible for training others and maintaining accurate training and SFP records.
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0 to 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Experience in manufacturing, inspections, and equipment operation
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Experience maintaining accurate records, including training files and shop floor paperwork
- Experience with SAP or similar manufacturing software
- Experience in training others
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience in medical device manufacturing is preferred but not required.
This position requires proficiency in English communication, including reading work instructions to consistently produce defect-free medical products.

Salary Range: $30,056 - $51,064
The listed compensation and benefits vary based on location and other factors. Compensation will be based on experience, education, licensure, and organizational needs. Typically, hires are made within this salary range.
For non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles, variable compensation may include overtime, shift differentials, and bonuses. For exempt roles, variable pay may include bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to eligibility.
