Job Overview

Production Coordinator I – 3rd Shift at Boston Scientific Corporation Malaysia. Full Time, Immediate start. Remote work available; on‑site work model is the primary requirement. This role assists the production supervisor in leading the production team to achieve daily Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals.

• Assists the production supervisor in leading the production team to achieve daily Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals.
• Directs manufacturing personnel on production lines to ensure the correct products are being built efficiently and identifies areas of improvement using lean tools.
• Ensures manufacturing personnel are following SOPs and maintains a safety‑first culture.
• Partners with supervisor or peers to set VSP staffing plans and communicates downtimes to ensure a smooth flow of production.
• Monitors daily performance, escalates equipment and component downtimes in a timely manner.
• Executes the training plan set by the production supervisor.
• Leads by example, submitting continuous‑improvement ideas and encouraging team members to do the same.
• Participates in kaizen activities and applies lean tools.
• Uses various forms of communication (in‑person, Microsoft Teams, email) effectively.
• Onboards new team members and sustains a positive work culture aligned with BSC’s Core Values & Behaviors.

• 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education/work experience.

• Experience in a regulated environment and/or the medical device industry.
