What You'll DoAs an Industrial Maintenance Technician III, you will serve as a key technical expert responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production equipment and facility systems. You will play a critical role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and ensuring a safe, efficient manufacturing environment. This position works independently on complex issues while supporting continuous improvement and mentoring team members.
- Serve as a technical expert performing advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on production equipment, facility systems, and infrastructure.
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility issues and implement lasting solutions.
- Lead and support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Perform repairs, overhauls, upgrades, and installations on machinery and facility systems with minimal supervision.
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Production teams to quickly resolve equipment issues and support production goals.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings to perform repairs, modifications, and equipment improvements.
- Design, fabricate, and modify jigs, fixtures, and tooling to improve safety, efficiency, and performance.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with internal teams and external vendors to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and documentation to support compliance and operational excellence.
- Support facility systems including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and safety systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Maintenance Technician I and II team members.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, equipment upgrades, and facility enhancements.
- Respond to urgent maintenance needs to ensure safe operations and minimize production downtime.
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, technical education, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility systems.
- Experience working with industrial equipment, motor controls, and production machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Experience supporting preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives.
- Ability to safely operate maintenance tools, shop equipment, forklifts, and lifts.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to mentor and support junior maintenance technicians.
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain maintenance documentation.
