Rate: Up to $35 per hour on a non‑benefitted W2 contract
Education: 2‑year technical degree or minimum 2 years as a technician performing related tasks in production or prototype environment.

Geo Logics is seeking an experienced technician to work in its Pilot Production Line performing assembly and test of complex electro‑mechanical assembly of electronic products and support equipment. Must be able to understand and work from engineering drawings and sketches and be able to follow written and verbal work instructions. Will be required to work additional hours when needed, including weekends.
Responsibilities- Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non‑repetitive assembly operations of electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and sub‑assemblies on ordnance systems.
- Assists team members in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities, troubleshooting and problem solving to transition new products into production.
- Proficient use of electronic test equipment, electrical assembly tools and hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches.
- Precision and fine motor skills required for micro/nano scale fabrication, assembly, and test with near zero defects.
- Demonstrates high degree of mechanical aptitude and knowledge of J‑STD‑001.
- Conducts tests using electronic test equipment (e.g., scopes, meters) and generates test report data.
- Uses mechanical assembly and measurement tools such as micrometers and torque wrenches.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.
- Can lift up to 35 lb.
- Communicates feedback to support design, fabrication and test improvements.
- Troubleshoots and resolves assembly issues.
- Anto‑mated Test Equipment operator experience.
- Troubleshooting of electronic, electrical systems.
- Trained and proficient in manufacturing & quality requirements of IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 Class 3 and J‑STD‑001.
- Understanding basic machining techniques.
- Basic understanding of GD&T.
