Assembler
Location:
Brooklyn Park, MN
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Mon–Thu); 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Fri)
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM (Mon–Thu)
- Job Type: Temporary or Temp-to-hire
- Compensation: $20.00–$22.00 per hour (paid weekly)
We are seeking Assemblers responsible for building and assembling commercial units and components according to specifications and quality standards. In this role, you will perform hands-on assembly work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, using tools and following detailed procedures to ensure product accuracy and efficiency. You will collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
WhatYou'll Do as an Assembler
- Assemble units and components according to engineering drawings and work instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete precise assembly tasks
- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality and specification compliance
- Report defects, shortages, or equipment issues promptly to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment while following all PPE and safety guidelines
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving assembly-related issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and quality
Required:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Work performed in a manufacturing/warehouse setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or additional shifts as needed
