Location: Maple Grove, MN
Compensation: $25.00–$29.00 per hour – paid weekly

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring CNC Programmers for a quality‑focused manufacturing company in Maple Grove, MN. In this role, you’ll program CNC machines, interpret blueprints, verify part accuracy, and support efficient production processes. If you enjoy technical problem-solving and hands‑on machine work, this opportunity could be a great fit!What You’ll Do as a CNC Programmer:
- Work safely and follow all established procedures
- Review blueprints, materials, and specifications to plan machining and programming
- Interpret GD&T to ensure accurate part setup and machining
- Enter machine instructions, including zero and reference points
- Use tool registers, offsets, and basic geometry/trigonometry to calculate machining requirements
- Load work pieces and verify machine settings using measurements and first-run checks
- Monitor operations, detect malfunctions, and maintain part specifications
- Troubleshoot processes, edit programs, and replace worn tools as needed
- Meet production goals for cycle time, quality, and output
- Safely load and unload castings and raw materials
- Inspect parts and adjust CNC codes to ensure accuracy
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and necessary adjustments
- Complete daily cleaning and light machine maintenance
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- 2-year technical degree in a related field or 3+ years of CNC programming experience
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, tooling, and machining processes
- Knowledge of production equipment, materials, and machining method
- Familiarity with safety practices and proper equipment use
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to move materials using a forklift or hand cart
- Ability to perform walking, reaching, bending, and twisting
- Comfortable working in moderate noise levels (hearing protection recommended)
- Safety glasses required on the production floor
