Manufacturing Technician III – 2nd Shift

Location: Maple Grove, MN, US, 55311

Shift: 1:30 pm – 9:30 pm

About the role: With general supervisory direction, assist in the daily support of products, processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals in the MCT Laser Cutting factory – ensuring quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize downtime.
• Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures.
• Revise existing documents, processes, or methods to correct or improve products.
• Work with vendors/suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Assist in writing validation plans, executing plans, and completing validation reports.
• Assist in Value Improvement (VIP) and Employee Involvement Team (EIT) projects, implementing new equipment or processes or improving existing ones for cost savings.
• Collect data and perform statistical analysis for process characterization, Cpk, and scrap reduction goals.
• Work with Process Development to bring new products into production.
• Collaborate with departmental customers to improve material quality and delivery.
• Train and provide technical support or direction to product builders and other technicians.

Required qualifications:

• 3 years of experience with a high school diploma/degree/equivalent.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Class IV Laser systems.
• 3 years of experience as a technician in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation: Minimum $55,432 – Maximum $94,224 (actual pay will depend on location and experience).
