Overview
We have an immediate need for a Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team on the first shift. This position is responsible for assembling industrial machinery and mechanical components.
Responsibilities- Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and complete machines using hand and power tools
- Install bearings, shafts, motors, belts, pulleys, hydraulic and pneumatic components
- Perform mechanical adjustments and alignments to ensure proper machine operation
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as needed
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Experience using hand tools, measuring tools, and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and reach
- Frequently lift and move parts or assemblies up to 50 lbs
- Use of hands to handle or operate tools, equipment, or parts
