Marketing Strategy, Product Marketing
• Lead, develop, coach, and manage a team of five marketing professionals
• Direct North America commercialization and go-to-market strategies for assigned Coronary products, portfolio segments, and strategic initiatives
• Establish priorities and allocate resources across products, launches, market-development programs, and commercial initiatives
• Lead market segmentation, customer targeting, positioning, messaging, value propositions, pricing strategies, and adoption strategies
• Serve as a commercial and market subject matter expert for the Interventional Coronary portfolio
• Partner with North America Sales leadership on sales enablement and field activation strategies
• Ensure strong field and customer presence through customer visits, field travel, physician meetings, advisory boards, conferences, and other market-facing activities
• Partner with Global/Upstream Marketing on North America customer and market requirements, portfolio strategy, product development, evidence-generation priorities, lifecycle planning, and future innovation
• Build a high-performing marketing organization through consistent processes, expectations, operating rhythms, and execution standards
• Lead improvements to marketing processes, commercial capabilities, organizational effectiveness, and execution speed
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, Healthcare, or a related discipline required
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in product marketing, product management, commercial strategy, sales, or related commercial functions
- Minimum of 5 years of medical device or healthcare industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated people-management experience, including direct responsibility for performance management, coaching, development, and talent decisions
- Experience with in Interventional Cardiology, coronary intervention, structural heart, peripheral intervention, electrophysiology, or another high-acuity medical device specialty strongly preferred
- Demonstrated people leadership and talent-development capabilities
- Strong understanding of downstream product marketing disciplines, including segmentation, targeting, positioning, value proposition development, GTM strategy, pricing, launch planning, market development, sales enablement, lifecycle management, and portfolio management
- Strong clinical aptitude and ability to understand complex medical technologies, procedures, clinical evidence, treatment pathways, physician decision-making, and customer needs
- Strong understanding of medical device commercialization within a regulated environment
- Strong change-management capabilities
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- High level of initiative, accountability, executive presence, independent thinking, and sound business judgment
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Up to 50% travel required
Demonstrates expertise in leading marketing strategies for medical devices, with a strong focus on product commercialization, market segmentation, and customer engagement. Proven ability to develop high-performing teams and drive organizational effectiveness in a regulated healthcare environment.
