About the Clinician's Workday
The trauma surgery nurse practitioner will provide clinic-based coverage during day shifts with no call requirements. Primary responsibilities include trauma rounding, managing intermittent emergency department consults, and participating in trauma activations as needed. The clinician will maintain a caseload of 6 to 14 patients per day within an on-site clinic environment. Procedure work is required as part of comprehensive trauma care delivery.
Board certification is required for this assignment. The position operates within a structured day shift schedule, supported by full clinic staff.
