• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
• School Nursing certification or eligibility (preferred)
• Experience working with children, ideally in a school or pediatric setting
• Strong assessment skills with the ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergencies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Competence in documentation and maintaining health records
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and external health professionals

• Provide daily nursing care to K-8 students, addressing routine and emergency needs
• Administer medications and manage health care plans for students with chronic conditions
• Conduct vision, hearing, and other health screenings
• Offer health education to students and staff, fostering a safe and supportive environment
• Monitor immunization compliance and maintain accurate health records
• Serve as a resource for health-related issues, collaborating with teachers and parents
• Promote wellness initiatives and uphold public health standards within the school community
