Retail Associate Store Manager – Visual Merchandising

L.L.Bean is searching for a Retail Associate Store Manager to lead the Visual Merchandising of our newest retail store at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove, MN, scheduled to open late July 2026. This role brings the L.L.Bean brand to life through compelling merchandise presentations and visual execution across the entire store.

• Deliver legendary world‑class customer service.
• Execute day‑to‑day operations following SOPs.
• Lead price changes, replenishment, floor‑set changes and visual, promotional and marketing initiatives.
• Oversee multi‑channel services ensuring top‑notch customer experience.
• Recommend hiring plans and strategies; recruit, hire, train and develop talent for the store.
• Model inclusive hiring practices and foster an inclusive work environment.
• Address employee issues/conflicts and provide feedback, coaching and developmental opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and healthy workplace, model safe behaviors, evaluate risks and reduce them to acceptable levels.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent with at least 3+ years of retail management experience in a high‑volume apparel retailer.
• Experience in apparel merchandising leadership and visual merchandising execution.
• Strong business acumen with ability to achieve sales and service goals.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to develop and motivate teams.
• Demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive work environment and customer experience.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Capable of building strong partnerships and working collaboratively.
• Positive attitude, high enthusiasm and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Salary range: $58,100 – $72,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications).
