Position: Regional Business Director (Central North)

Position Summary

Lead the execution of the Regional growth strategy. Lead, coach, mentor, and develop 6–9 account managers and molecular oncology specialists with a hands‑on sales approach. Identify and communicate customer needs to maintain market leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Meet/exceed direct sales revenue targets; develop regional sales strategy.
  • Build, train, and manage a sales team to achieve volume/revenue objectives.
  • Establish senior relationships in key accounts; develop/maintain client relationships.
  • Provide marketplace feedback on industry trends, best practices, and competitive insights.
  • Build cross-functional relationships to support product development, pipeline management, compensation plans, sales reporting, and revenue forecasting.
  • Analyze opportunities and develop strategic plans for assigned territory.
  • Advise senior management on client/market concerns; maintain core knowledge of competitive products/services and reimbursement/billing.
  • Support physicians with CMI platform ordering/interpretation and QC report accuracy (may require access to PHI).
  • Maintain assigned company assets; submit required reports and paperwork.
Required Qualifications / Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years people leadership (preferred) and knowledge of oncology/pathology/diagnostic market.
  • Strong physician/client relationship understanding; proven sales success with global brand marketers/agencies.
  • Decision‑making under pressure; healthcare business policy understanding.
  • Microsoft Office/Internet proficiency; strong written/verbal communication.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented; matrix/team experience; problem management/root‑cause analysis.
  • Valid driver’s license; reliable vehicle; travel; 50% field time.
