PhD-Level Clinical Science Specialist / Manager

We've partnered with our start-up structural heart client as they are seeking a PhD-level Clinical Science Specialist / Manager to serve as a key scientific contributor across clinical, regulatory, and R&D. This role sits at the intersection of data, physicians, and product development—translating complex clinical evidence into clear insights, publications, and strategic direction.

This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to leadership and external stakeholders.

• Lead development of scientific content: manuscripts, abstracts, presentations, and regulatory-facing materials
• Synthesize clinical data, literature, and competitive insights into clear, defensible narratives
• Partner with physicians to develop and refine publications and conference materials
• Support preclinical and clinical data interpretation to inform product and clinical strategy
• Identify and drive publication and conference strategy (abstracts, submissions, timelines)
• Present key insights from scientific meetings to internal teams

• PhD in a scientific discipline (cardiovascular or biomedical focus preferred)
• Experience with peer-reviewed publications (writing, submission, authorship)
• Strong ability to translate complex data into compelling scientific narratives
• Familiarity with cardiovascular physiology and structural heart therapies
• Ability to work directly with physicians and cross-functional teams
• High ownership mindset in a fast-paced, build environment

• Direct impact on scientific strategy and external visibility of a TMVR program
