As a  
** Security Officer - Unarmed Driving Patrol
** in  
** Maple Grove, MN** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols across the property, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access control activity as needed.

This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license in the job state and compliance with AU Driver Policy requirements. You will deliver helpful customer service through clear communication and teamwork.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, entrances, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting and/or escalating concerns in accordance with post orders and site procedures.

+ Document patrol activity, incidents, and/or policy violations in written reports and electronic systems, and communicate key updates during shift turnover.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
