Field, POS & Network technicians encouraged to apply – Technicians handle a wide range of installations, repairs, break‑fix and upgrades for retail security products, including POS systems, networks, networked devices, access points, routers, switches, RFID smart lock access. They also set up and troubleshoot connections in various environments, connecting devices with physical cables or wireless frequencies to ensure adequate signal strength for clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Current Driver’s License, insurance, and a vehicle.
- Previous IT or related technical technician experience required.
- Technically inclined – experience with cabling runs, management, testing, terminating, and network provisioning.
- Excellent communication skills via phone, text, and email.
- Frequent use of hand tools.
- Travel required in various markets.
- Lifting 60 lbs or more.
- Able to climb up and down ladders.
- Testing networks Wi‑Fi signals, heat mapping.
- Installing, troubleshooting, access points, routers, switches.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
- Superior knowledge of various networking technologies.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Education and Experience
- Over the age of 18.
- Certifications are a plus but not required.
- All training is provided.
- Travel required.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds on occasion.
- Reaching above head for items.
- Ability to use a computer and telephone system.
- Regularly stand, walk, bend over, reach overhead.
- POS experience is a plus.
- Various environments with average noise to high and lighting levels.
- Facility ceiling space / crawl spaces.
