Paratransit Bus Mechanic
Inspect, diagnose, and repair paratransit buses and related equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
Repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, lifts/ramps, HVAC, and wheelchair securement equipment.
Conduct safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet DOT, FMCSA, and company standards.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize vehicle downtime.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
Respond to road calls and emergency repairs as needed.
Keep the shop and work area clean, organized, and safe.
Summary:
Ensures paratransit vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready to provide transportation services.
Valid MN Driver's License
DOT Medical Certificate (can be obtained after offer is given)
Be able to work independently and on a team
Minimum Experience RequiredFord, GM, or Fleet experience
ASE is a plus!
