Field Service Technician

• Provide non-supervised professional service and training support for Brenton Engineering customers
• Direct and assist customer personnel with installation, start-up, and training of Brenton machines and systems
• Provide technical service support when customer machines are not performing
• Provide the Engineering Department with accurate updates on field changes made to machines
• Participate in final machine checkout to ensure machines are ready for shipment
• Support growth and profitability of Brenton product lines through field service and training
• Report to the Field Service Manager

• Mechanically and electrically competent
• Mechanical and electrical assembly and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work online with Rockwell PLCs and HMIs
• Ability to navigate and make edits/changes to PLC and HMI programs
• Fanuc Robot experience and certification highly desirable
• 2–4 years of field experience
• Professional communication, attitude and image
• Good verbal and written presentation skills
• Organized and a good planner
• Good interpersonal, coaching and technical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment
• Fluent in setup and operations of Brenton case packers, shrink wrappers, and Fanuc robots and controllers

Demonstrates mechanical and electrical competency with a strong focus on installation, troubleshooting, and training for Brenton machines. Proficient in working with Rockwell PLCs, HMIs, and Fanuc robots to ensure optimal machine performance and customer satisfaction.
