Social Worker

Parnassus Preparatory School is currently accepting applications for a full-time Social Worker (for the  school year). Full-time (1.00 FTE) We Are Different! Applicants should have experience working with at-risk students with behavioral, mental health, and/or chemical health needs.

They will support students' social, emotional, and mental health development, collaborate with teachers, support staff, families, school programs, and outside agencies as well as provide families and staff with connections and resources for meeting individual student needs.

Minimum

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field accredited by Council on Social Work Education
• An appropriate MN license in social work is required
• Experience working with at-risk students with behavioral, mental health, and/ or chemical health needs.
• Ability and willingness to teach the classical trivium and sequence model as defined by the school
• The ability to speak and write clearly and effectively
• Conviction in the values of a rigorous liberal arts education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree preferred but not required
• Teaching experience preferred but not required

Compensation:
Pay range: $50K - $80K
