Software Engineer, Data Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Windchill Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Windchill PLM solutions. This role is responsible for translating business requirements into scalable technical architecture, guiding development, infrastructure, and testing teams, and ensuring successful end-to-end delivery of PLM capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Windchill solution architectures for implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Create scalable, high performance technical architectures aligned with business goals.
- Define data models, workflows, and mappings to optimize PLM processes.
- Lead implementation activities including installation, configuration, customization, testing, performance tuning, and deployment.
- Evaluate business requirements to define solution architecture following the best practices, provide technical options.
- Oversee development of workflows, UI components, and data structures.
- Oversee data migration (ETL, transformation, validation, cleansing).
- Provide troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Perform code reviews and signoffs.
- Communicate technical details to stakeholders and manage expectations.
- Adhere to the client's Software Lifecycle development process in creating the deliverables
Skills & Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of Windchill data model, ACLs, life cycles, workflows, and UI customization.
- Strong programming skills (Java, JSPs, and Windchill API, Rest / Soap APIs).
- Strong SQL and database design skills.
- Experience with MCAD (Solidworks), ECAD (Altium) integration with Windchill is a plus.
- Expertise with Parts Link, Project Link is a plus.
- Experience working in Med Dev, Life Sciences industry is a plus.
This is a Contract position based out of Maple Grove, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $90.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Maple Grove,MN.
