A Class A CDL Truck Driver position at Ryder in Maple Grove, MN. The role offers weekly pay, competitive hourly pay of $33.00, 40 or more hours per week, and opportunities to drive on routes in MN, ND, SD, IA, and WI.
Primary responsibilities include ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, maintaining accurate records, loading/unloading freight, and performing other duties as assigned.
Pay & Schedule- Weekly pay – $1560 or more per week.
- Hourly pay: $33.00 per hour.
- Hours per week: 40+.
- Per diem for nights in truck (2–3 nights per week).
- Overnights:
Sleeper or Ryder‑booked hotel. - Paid training.
- Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM start.
- Deliver to MN, ND, SD, IA & WI.
- Route: regional.
- Tractor:
Day Cab & Sleeper. - Trailer: 48‑foot & 53‑foot dry van.
- Equipment: pallet jack and lift gate (Ryder trains).
- Freight: touch‑palletized, retail goods.
- Medical, dental & vision after 30 days.
- 80 hours PTO in first year, starting Day 1.
- Uniforms & boot allowance.
- 401(k) rollover and company match at 1 year.
- 12 weeks paid maternity leave (eligibility subject to tenure).

- Trucks are 36 months or newer, 24/7 roadside maintenance.
- Company covers fuel at over 800 facilities nationwide.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Pass a Ryder drug test.
- Pass a Ryder background, motor‑vehicle check, and drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
- Pass a DOT physical.
- Pass a Ryder road test.
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements.
- Class A CDL with verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years, or
- 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, or
- 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years.
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
- Loading/unloading freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
