Truck Driver CDL A Solo

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Maple Grove, MN offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Weekly Pay: $1,560 or more
• Hourly Pay: $33.00 per hour
• Hours per Week: 40 or more
• Per Diem: $30-50 per night, 2-3 nights per week
• Overnights:
  Route in sleeper or Ryder–booked hotel
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, Start 5:00 AM
• Paid training and uniform, cell phone, boot allowance provided
• Paid PTO: 80 hours in first year (use it or get paid)

Ryder Drivers operate well‑maintained trucks 36 months or newer with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations.

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass Ryder drug test, background & motor vehicle check (last 3 years)
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years
  • or 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years
  • or 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detect, eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load and unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
