Position Description

Ryder is hiring a General Warehouse Associate in Maple Grove, Minnesota. The role offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Compensation and Schedule
  • Hourly Pay: $19.25 per hour
  • Schedule:

    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 6:00 am–2:30 pm

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months of related warehouse experience required
  • One year or more related warehouse experience preferred
  • Must learn to operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc.) and maintain them; intermediate level required
  • May be required to operate manual or automated warehouse equipment; intermediate preferred
  • Powered industrial truck certification required
  • Ability to read, do basic mathematics, and understand safety and procedural documents
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to input data into the WMS computer system in use
  • Work overtime as assigned
  • Ability to build professional relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Flexibility to operate and self‑driven in a fast‑paced environment
  • Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time‑management skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
Responsibilities
  • Package, kit, and assemble orders and materials.
  • Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and ensure all scans are completed accurately.
  • Assist dock employees on new procedures and secure the facility at the end of shifts.
  • Perform picking and packing duties; investigate and resolve scanning issues and housekeeping tasks.
  • Adhere to location policies and procedures for material handling.
  • Perform material moves under logical transactions as required.
  • Participate in work‑group and team activities for continuous improvement.
  • Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
  • Perform any other duties assigned.
