Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Maple Grove, Minnesota. The role offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
Pay & Schedules- Hourly Pay: $19.25 per hour
- Schedules:
- Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Days off:
Sunday & Thursday
- Products handled: boxes, home goods, clothing items
- Primary equipment: manual pallet jack; forklifts and other powered industrial trucks as required
- On-the-job paid training

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months of warehouse experience required; one year or more preferred
- Experience operating powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, etc.)
- Powered industrial truck certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Proficiency with WMS computer systems
- Ability to read, perform basic mathematics, and understand safety and work instructions
- Work overtime as assigned; capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Highly organized, strong time‑management skills, multi‑tasking ability, and attention to detail
- Flexibility and self‑drive in a fast‑paced environment
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check; a road test; and/or background, badging, or other customer requirements.
Responsibilities- Package, kit, and/or assemble orders and materials
- Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure accurate scanning and documentation
- Train dock employees on new procedures
- Secure the facility at the end of the shift; investigate and resolve scanning or housekeeping issues
- Perform picking, packing, and quality‑check duties; verify evidence of product or container damage
- Follow all policies and procedures for material handling and logistics transactions
- Participate in work groups and team activities to improve warehouse operations and related business functions
- Maintain housekeeping duties within the assigned area
- Perform additional duties as assigned
