Job Description
Support warehouse and inventory operations by receiving, handling, tracking, and maintaining material inventory. Ensure accurate inventory records, material movement, and compliance with safety and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Open containers and verify material quantities through counting, weighing, and sampling.
- Load and unload materials onto pallets, trays, and storage locations.
- Perform physical inventory counts using manual counts and weighing equipment.
- Utilize computer systems and handheld scanners to track, log, verify, and record inventory transactions.
- Review and process shipping and receiving documentation.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and support inventory control activities.
- Follow safety procedures and support continuous process improvements.
- Assist with warehouse operations and material handling as required.
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or material management operations.
- Experience operating handheld scanners and inventory tracking systems.
- Ability to read and understand shipping and inventory documentation.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, time management, and data entry skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Forklift certification and operating experience.
- High-Reach Truck operating experience.
- Experience operating propane or electric-powered forklifts.
- Advanced inventory control and warehouse management experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
