Schedule:

- Operate an overhead crane to load and unload plates and cut pieces from the burning table.
- Review drawings, layouts, tolerances, job packets, and special instructions to determine piece count, material grade, thickness, length, and width requirements.
- Read and interpret production drawings and blueprints.
- Operate burning equipment and perform first article inspections and measurements on completed parts.
- Execute daily production schedules while meeting quality and productivity expectations.
- Mark, tag, and skid parts according to engineering and customer requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and material traceability through proper tagging, color coding, and verification processes.
- Properly identify and dispose of scrap materials according to company procedures.
- Mark grain direction on burned parts as required.
- Participate and become actively engaged in the Company Traction & L10 Process.
- Positive Attitude: Willingness to learn, work collaboratively, and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately follow drawings, work instructions, and production specifications.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable operating industrial equipment and working in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and committed to producing quality work.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for extended periods and safely handle materials in an industrial environment.
- Previous experience operating a burning machine.
- Overhead crane experience.
- Tow motor or lift truck experience.
- Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and production drawings.
