Armed Security Officer

Job Schedule:

Tuesday 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
  Six‑month commitment to a designated site and weekly shift.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program:
  Pick‑up extra shifts through scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

• Provide customer service to clients and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an armed post at a financial institution.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, using sound judgment and following site protocols for reporting and escalation.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document unusual conditions, disturbances, or policy violations in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support opening, closing, and high‑traffic operational periods with a visible presence, attention to security‑related concerns, and timely communication with site contacts and/or emergency services.

• 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security experience.
• Armed Guard Card/License.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Considered for criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
