CDL-A Driver

CDL-A Local Driver – Local Deliveries, Consistent Route, No Weekends!

This is for a new facility in Maple Heights. As a CDL-A Local Driver you will play a crucial role in the Famous Supply chain, ensuring all regulations, laws, and policies are followed while picking up and delivering products to Famous Supply branches, customers, and job sites. You will be home nightly, with regional over‑road deliveries 1–2 times per month and Sunday deliveries 2–3 times annually.

Starting wage: $26/hr (negotiable based on experience) with annual bonus opportunity. Drivers will handle large products (water heaters, furnaces, showers). A smartphone is provided for navigation and routing.

• Pickup loads and take to other locations as needed
• Drop and hook trailers
• Execute branch and customer deliveries as needed
• Use smartphone to navigate stops on time and safely
• Verify paperwork, addresses, and loads for accuracy
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service to all you interact with
• Complete pre and post trip inspections with pictures
• Act as backup for non‑CDL vehicles as needed

• Valid and verifiable CDL‑A license
• Acceptable and verifiable driving record
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Smartphone operation
• Excellent communication

• Forklift experience
• Building industry experience and requisite product knowledge
• Warehouse experience
• RF scanner experience
• Customer service experience
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
