Title: Traffic & Grounds Attendant
Department: Mountain Operations
Reports to: Roads and Slopes Manager and Assistant Manager

Reporting to the Traffic and Grounds Supervisor, Roads and Slopes Manager and Assistant Manager, the Traffic and Grounds Attendant is responsible for using safe and effective methods in directing guests to their appropriate parking zones, maintaining walkways and entrance ways are free of snow and ice, conducting periodic tire checks and help to monitor day use pass for backcountry users. The T & G Attendant will ensure a high standard of service is provided to Mt Seymour guests and staff alike.

This position is key to the success and day-to-day smooth running of the resort.

• You can carry up to 50lbs approx. of equipment.
• You can shovel snow for long periods.
• You can sustain physical activity for the entirety of your 8hr shift.
• You want to share the stoke with our guests and keep the energy high.

• A positive and friendly attitude in all weather conditions.
• Previous guest-facing experience.
• Able to be assertive while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Able to work evening shifts
• Able to follow directions and work unsupervised.
• Able to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment with the ability to reason and react with quick, thoughtful judgment.
• Flexibility in your schedule during high-volume periods of the winter season.

• Seasonal position, November throughto April.
• $19 -$22 per hour, depending on experience/certifications.
• Complimentary season pass and shuttle bus pass.
