Position: Project Leader for Facilities Management

The City of Maple Ridge is seeking a skilled Associate Manager, Facilities. In this position, you will oversee construction projects from planning through completion while ensuring financial accountability and compliance. Your technical expertise will play a crucial role in achieving greenhouse gas reduction objectives and long-term asset management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of facilities projects

• Administer contracts, participating in evaluations and tender processes

• Review technical documents to advise on risks and solutions

• Manage budgets and financial forecasts for each project

• Monitor construction quality and compliance through field reviews

Requirements:

• Technical diploma in engineering or related areas

• At least five years of construction project management experience

• Demonstrated supervisory skills with a valid BC Driver’s Licence

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

• Experience in sustainability or related initiatives
