Spray & Install Technician (Cabinet Painting & Finishing) at Kitchen Makeovers –
Location:
Aldergrove, BC. We transform kitchens through high-end cabinet refinishing and refacing, helping homeowners fall in love with their space again without the cost, waste, or disruption of a full renovation. We're growing fast and looking for a Spray & Install Technician who takes pride in clean prep, flawless finishes, and a great on-site customer experience.
Kitchen Makeovers helps homeowners refresh their kitchens without a full tear-out, delivering standout results while saving customers time, money, and unnecessary waste. Responsibilities- Prep kitchens for refinishing: masking, protecting surfaces, ventilation, and clean spray setup
- Spray cabinet boxes/parts using the right technique, coatings, and equipment
- Measure accurately; install cabinet doors, drawers, hinges, handles, and hardware
- Maintain/clean spray equipment and tools (daily care = consistent quality)
- Document job progress, punch lists, deficiencies, and issues clearly
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, answer questions confidently and respectfully
- Flex for deadlines: occasional overtime to hit production schedules (overtime paid per BC ESA)
- Experience in spray finishing, cabinet painting, or a related trade (or strong transferable experience and the right attitude)
- Comfortable working in customers' homes and representing the brand professionally
- Strong measuring/installation ability (doors/drawer fronts + hardware)
- Valid driver's license + clean driving record/abstract
- Physically able to lift, bend, stand, and work with PPE
- Able to pass and maintain a proper respirator fit when required (tight-fitting respirators require an effective face seal; fit-testing is required).
- Airless cabinet spraying experience
- Cabinet installation, wood staining, or fine finishing
- Employment type:
Full-time employee (permanent) - Hourly pay: $24 to $33 per hour (CAD), based on experience, plus bonuses and paid overtime
- Schedule:
Start at 7:00 AM; end time varies by job site/location. Average ~40 hours/week (some days shorter, some longer). - Company vehicle for job site travel
