HVAC Service Technician

We are currently searching for a dedicated and experienced HVAC Service Technician for a reputable company located in the lower mainland.

This position requires the technician to service and maintain HVAC systems and related equipment in residential environments.

Primary job duties:

• Service and maintain HVAC systems and related equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes
• Ensure the safe operation of newly installed systems and educate customers on proper use and maintenance
• Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and professional service
• Identify opportunities to recommend additional products or services that enhance overall system performance and customer satisfaction
• Troubleshoot issues effectively and provide practical, solution-oriented recommendations
• Maintain accurate documentation while upholding high standards of safety and workmanship

Requirements:

• A minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
• A Red Seal or Journeyman HVAC certification is preferred
• Gas Fitter B license (or in progress)
• Experience servicing HVAC systems and water heaters is considered an asset
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Physical capability to perform job-related tasks in various environments

Details:

• $45-49/hour pay range
• Day shifts with on call flexibility required
• Fully loaded company truck with fuel coverage
• Tools provided

• 2 weeks’ vacation
• Commission/bonus available for cross selling and providing leads for other services
