Installer (G2 Gas Fitter)

Location: Blue Mountain, ONL9Y 0L8 Service: Blue Mountain, Meaford, Amberley locations

Pay: CA $25.00-CA $30.00 per hour (open to negotiation based on overall experience)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM start time. End times vary typically finish between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Occasional Saturday work during peak season.

Job description

Our client is a trusted name in home comfort, specializing in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of gas and wood fireplaces. Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Gas Fitter (G2) to join our growing team. This is a hands‑on role involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential gas fireplaces. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and enjoys working independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, service, and repair gas fireplaces and heating appliances
  • Perform gas line connections, leak testing, and system diagnostics
  • Complete work orders and ensure compliance with Ontario gas safety codes
  • Communicate clearly with clients and provide excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with team members and office staff to schedule and complete jobs efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site
Qualifications
  • Valid G2 Gas Technician License in Ontario
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential gas fitting
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • WETT Certification (an asset)
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
