Carpenter

West Coast Building Restoration Inc. is hiring.

Location:

Maple Ridge, BC V2X 0T4.

Salary: $37.00 per hour (35–40 hours per week).

Employment type:

Permanent, Full-time.

Start date:

As soon as possible.

• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance with building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.

• Education:
  
  Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience:
  
  2 to less than 3 years in carpentry.
• Language:
  English.
• Work location:
  
  On-site; remote work not available.
