Job Details

Location:  St Maple Ridge, BC V2X 4L4 (On site)

Salary: $38.00 per hour (30–40 hours per week)

Employment Type: Permanent, Full time (Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening shifts)

Start Date: Starts as soon as possible

Responsibilities
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise workers and projects.
  • Co‑ordinate and schedule activities.
  • Train or arrange for training.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Read blueprints and drawings.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience:

    2 to 3 years in carpentry or supervisory roles.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and drawings.
  • Must be reliable, flexible and able to supervise carpenters.
Work Environment & Setting
  • Work site environment:
    Outdoors.
  • Work setting:
    Construction.
  • Work must be completed on site; remote work is not an option.
