The company supports customers by minimizing downtime and can provide rental or full-service lease trucks when vehicles need repair. Bentley Truck Services is an authorized dealer for Isuzu and Hino Trucks and is a proud Nationa Lease location at all of its sites, as well as an Associate Member of the Pennsylvania Towing Association.
With 10 locations across the eastern seaboard, the team focuses on helping customers make informed decisions when purchasing or leasing their next truck. The organization values reliable service, strong partnerships, and long‑term customer relationships.
This is a full‑time, on‑site Service Manager role based in Maple Shade, NJ. The Service Manager oversees daily service department operations, including scheduling and prioritizing repairs, managing work orders, and ensuring timely completion of maintenance and repair work. This role leads and supports service advisors, technicians, and support staff to maintain high‑quality standards, safety, and efficient workflow. The Service Manager communicates with customers about service needs, estimates, approvals, and status updates, while resolving concerns in a professional, customer‑focused manner.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring department performance, managing budgets and vendor relationships, maintaining accurate service records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and manufacturer guidelines.
- Experience in service department management within commercial trucking, automotive, or a related industry, with strong knowledge of maintenance and repair processes.
- Proficiency in organizing and overseeing daily service operations, including scheduling, work order management, and coordination with parts and sales teams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly and handle escalations professionally.
- Comfort with service management software, basic reporting, and using digital tools to track productivity, costs, and customer information.
- Knowledge of safety standards, compliance requirements, and manufacturer guidelines related to commercial truck service.
- Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced shop environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and make sound decisions under time pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training, certifications, or an associate degree in a related field are preferred.
- Previous experience with commercial truck brands such as Isuzu or Hino, or in a dealership or leasing environment, is a plus.
