Job summary:

Our client in Maple Shade, NJ, is seeking 2 Skilled Tool Markers to support the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of stamping dies used in production. This is a Temp to Hire role offering between $38-$40/hr based on experience. The schedule for this role is 6AM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday - overtime is available on Saturdays.

The ideal candidate will have strong manual machining experience, surface grinding expertise, and the ability to work with close tolerances in a precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain stamping dies and tooling.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and non-conforming parts.
• Inspect tooling for wear and damage.
• Maintain maintenance and repair records.
• Operate surface grinders, manual mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
• Read blueprints and work to close tolerances.
• Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Operate a forklift or pallet jack as needed.

Requirements:

• Must have 3-5 years of surface grinding experience
• 3-5 years of manual machining experience (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.)
• Experience with  OD machining
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T preferred.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs consistently.
• Ability to stand and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift.
