Responsibilities- Handle incoming customer phone calls, resolve issues or reroute to team members, and follow‑up to ensure requests are met.
- Process policy changes, answer billing questions, issue insurance documents and certificates, and respond to service requests via phone, e‑mail or mail.
- Assist the sales team by organizing, scanning, and electronically filing required insurance policy documents and customer information.
- Support the customer support team with policy audits, data entry, and retention initiatives.
- Field questions from prospects and customers regarding coverage options, policy provisions, discounts, pricing, and related information.
- Participate in renewal retention efforts, including renewal audits, client surveys, phone calls, and customer care initiatives.
- Work with management to help achieve premium, retention, and growth targets for all lines of selected business.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the insurance group at all Holman functions and across the organization.
- Collaborate with Account Representatives and customer service personnel to meet growth and service objectives, including training new employees when required.
- Complete administrative tasks such as taking incoming calls, making outbound calls, responding to e‑mails, filing (electronic and paper), sorting and distributing mail, assisting with corporate events, and supporting finance and accounting tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer care to all prospects and clients of the business.
- Interact comfortably, over the phone and in person, with prospects, clients, referral sources, and business colleagues inside and outside the Holman organization.
- Maintain flexibility in the work schedule; the position may require evening and Saturday hours.
- Demonstrate adaptability and a “get it done” attitude as the business grows.
- Four‑year college degree or equivalent experience as determined by department management.
- Property and Casualty Insurance License or ability to sit for and pass state licensing exams; license issuance required within 90 days of joining.
- Property and Casualty insurance experience preferred, but not required.
- Highly organized with exceptional follow‑up on assigned tasks.
- Goal‑driven, self‑motivated, comfortable with individual accountability, and able to collaborate within a team environment.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within local NJ and PA markets for meetings, prospecting calls, and network development.
Targeted salary is $50,000–$55,000 annually.
Work ArrangementHybrid – Work on a combination of in‑office and remote days.
