Union Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms, construction tools, generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance and complex repairs on equipment.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Work safely and effectively to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to address changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Follow physical demands including bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, indoors or outdoors as required.

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 5+ years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines including generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas systems.
• Proficiency with mechanic’s tools of the trade.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
