Body Shop Technician - Holman Collision Maple Shade

Holman Collision Maple Shade offers a unique opportunity for a strong Body/Metal Technician to join the Holman family.

Auto Body Technician

• Repair and restore collision damage to vehicles, including minor and major repairs.
• Manage body, frame, and mechanical repair of vehicles.
• Review damage reports, prepare or review repair cost estimates, and plan work to be performed.
• Remove damaged panels and identify the type and properties of the plastics used on a vehicle.
• Inspect repaired vehicles for proper functioning, dimensional accuracy, and overall appearance of the paint job; test drive to ensure proper alignment and handling.
• Position dolly blocks against surfaces of dented areas and beat opposite surfaces to remove dents using hammers.
• Fit and weld replacement parts, using wrenches and welding equipment, then grind down welds for a smooth finish with power grinders and other tools.
• Handle maximal physical demands involving bending, lifting, reaching, and pushing/pulling.

• 3+years of related auto‑body experience.
• ICAR certifications desired.
• Knowledge of frame and unibody repairs.
• Extensive mechanical ability and training in car damage repairs.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean MVR.
• Willingness to satisfy background, drug, and physical requirements.
