Embark on a rewarding contract position supporting students’ communication needs in a vibrant educational setting near Maple Valley, WA. Qualifications & Desired

Experience:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP license in Washington State (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) preferred;
    Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants also considered
  • Prior experience in educational or pediatric healthcare settings strongly valued
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), speech/language assessments, and intervention planning
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations to assess speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students’ needs
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Document progress and maintain accurate student records in accordance with school district requirements
  • Contribute to IEP meetings, offering expertise in speech and language development
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students in various school settings
