Position: PHARMACY/CERTIFIED TECH

Job Overview

Responsibilities
  • Support company health and wellness initiatives.
  • Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain current national/state registration, certification, or license as required.
  • Assist pharmacist with all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgement.
  • Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing.
  • Coach and train clerks and/or technicians.
  • Compound medications according to regulations.
  • Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information matches records.
  • Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and applications.
  • Complete CLIA-waived screening duties in compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Offer additional health and wellness services as permitted by state and regulatory bodies.
  • Enforce sanitation and safety regulations and notify management of unsafe conditions.
  • Report illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Age 18 years or older.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information.
  • Completion of required national registration, certification, or licensure.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous comparable experience.
  • Experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent.
