Position: Kindergarten Grades K - 5 Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Maple Valley, WA

This contract opportunity offers the chance to support students ranging from Pre-K to high school, working alongside educators and families to foster communication skills and academic success.

In this dynamic setting, you'll engage with a diverse caseload and play a vital role in early intervention, ongoing therapy, and individualized education planning. Your expertise will help students express themselves, thrive socially, and reach their full potential in the classroom and beyond.

Qualifications &

Experience:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship candidates considered
  • Prior experience in pediatric, early childhood, or school-based settings preferred
  • Comfortable working with all grade levels:
    Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to collaboration with educators, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
  • Document and report on student growth and therapy outcomes
  • Deliver therapy sessions in individual and group formats
  • Provide education and training to staff as needed to promote best practices
