Shift: Day,
Schedule:
Monday - Friday.
The Certified Medical Assistant (MA‑C) is an integral member of the physician/advanced practice provider office team, working under the direction and supervision of a licensed health‑care practitioner. The MA‑C performs safe clinical skills within the scope of practice and maintains continuous contact with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, front‑office staff, patients, and their families or caregivers.
Responsibilities- Organize patient flow in collaboration with front‑office staff
- Interview patients
- Obtain vital signs
- Assist patients in preparing for exams or treatments
- Perform specimen collection, including venipuncture
- Administer medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency
- Relay instructions and information to patients and their families/caregivers
- Send and receive patient medical records
- Facilitate patient referrals
- Prepare forms for patients
- Washington State Medical Assistant‑Certified (MA‑C)
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a health‑care setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Competitive pay range: $26.29 – $37.91 per hour
