Overview
Flynn Panera is a Panera Bread franchisee. Flynn Panera operates with a decentralized business model where each geographic area is led by a Market Leader. Area Directors oversee multiple units, and General Managers manage individual cafes. Assistant Managers support department leadership and daily operations, with Team Managers completing the cafe leadership team.

Position DescriptionOur Panera Bread cafes are upscale, friendly environments offering baked breads and pastries, made-to-order soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialty espresso beverages.
No Fryers and No Late Nights. The environment is grease- and alcohol-free for our associates; as a manager, expect no late nights, with morning start times preferred.
Managers at our growing cafes supervise up to 75 staff members to ensure a high-quality service experience for our guests.

- Maintain high standards of restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and safety, and facility management. Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
- Demonstrate a stable employment track record, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
Restaurant management involves strategic planning, shift organization, and day-to-day operations. Panera Bread management is fast-paced, demanding, and rewarding.
- Oversee the overall business performance, including ordering, scheduling, labor management, marketing, facilities management, bakery operations, and catering.
- Analyze and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability.
- Create and execute plans for sustained profitability.
- Serve as the primary conduit of information between the team and management.
- Retain and develop team members and managers.
- Manage budgets and control costs.
- Coordinate the operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
- Greet customers and conduct table visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Inspire associates to be their authentic selves while maintaining productivity.
- Coach and mentor through One-on-Ones, performance documentation, and reviews.
- Anticipate problems and take preventive action.
- Serve as the primary resource for resolving associate questions.
- Ensure bakery-cafe specialists are trained and competent in all aspects of food service and customer support.
- At least 2-3 years of hospitality management experience.
- A degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management is preferred.
- Food management certifications are a plus.
- Must have the “Run it Like You Own It” mentality.

Hourly Assistant Manager Compensation Range: $23.00 – $27 per hour, plus Monthly Profit Share, with 5 hours of overtime each week.
Physical Standards- Stand and move for up to 10 hours per shift.
- Safely lift pots, pans, glassware, and boxes up to 50 pounds.
- Read and write to facilitate communication.
- Finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment.
